Selmer is a family name and has Scandinavian roots. The name itself originated from the Old Norse elements "selr" meaning "house" and "mar" meaning "maid" or "maiden." It can be interpreted as "house of the maiden" or "maiden's dwelling."
Stone on the other hand symbolizes not on the foundation of the venue itself but also how a strong foundation is key in a marriage.
The combination of the two, Selmer + Stone, embodies a sturdy and enduring structure — which we believe is key in long lasting, loving marriage.

Currently the area is under renovation, with plans and dreams of bringing European countryside influence to Wisconsin. Located centrally in Fort Atkinson, a charming southeastern town in Wisconsin - 45 minutes from Madison and an hour from Milwaukee. The property has several areas for you to use as you bring your unique event vision to life.
